Sujatha Viswanathan is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of post-qualification experience in financial management, governance, accounting, reporting, budgeting, compliance and audit. As Chief Financial Officer at IFMR, she provides leadership for the institution’s finance and accounting functions and supports its financial planning, governance and reporting.
Sujatha works closely with the institution’s leadership and governance bodies on budgeting, financial performance, management reporting and effective stewardship of financial resources. She brings extensive experience in strengthening finance processes and controls, statutory compliance, financial analysis and supporting organisational and project-level decision-making.
Prior to joining IFMR, she served as Head – Finance & Accounts at Amelio Early Education and has held finance and consulting roles across the healthcare, technology, manufacturing and business process services sectors. She has also worked with international group stakeholders and brings broad experience in managing finance functions within diverse organisational environments.
