Deepanshu Khandelwal is the Chief Executive Officer of Catalyst AIC, where he leads the overall administration of the centre based in Jaipur and manages its activities and programmes in close coordination with its launch partners, including the Atal Innovation Mission at NITI Aayog. He brings diverse experience across entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships, programme management and startup development.
Prior to joining Catalyst AIC, Deepanshu was with EY’s Transaction Advisory Services, where he was part of the core team for iStart, the Government of Rajasthan’s Startup Development Programme. He also led strategic partnerships for the programme and was instrumental in setting up EY teams for similar startup projects in Haryana and J&K.
Earlier, he worked with a healthcare startup as its Director of Operations for Rajasthan, leading a team of over 200 employees and supporting the company’s expansion across the state. Under his leadership, the company achieved an annual GMV of INR 20 crore from its Rajasthan operations and opened offices across Ajmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Kota.
Deepanshu is also the founder of The Tech Portal, a global technology news platform, where he currently serves as Consulting Editor and remains a director and shareholder in the parent company. Under his leadership until 2017, the venture raised multiple rounds of investment and became one of the few digital media companies in India to turn profitable.
