Vishwanathan Iyer is the Founding Partner of NxtPractice Growth Partners LLP, a boutique consulting firm focused on growth, strategy and business transformation. He is an IT industry veteran with more than four decades of corporate experience across India and international markets.
He spent over two decades with the Tata Group, including senior leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he served as President, TCS Asia Pacific; Global Head of Strategy; Global Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs; and CFO, Global Operations. Earlier, he spent around a decade with IBM, including as IBM India’s first Country CFO and later Director of Acquisitions for IBM Global Services Asia Pacific. He also held senior leadership roles at Tata Elxsi.
His expertise spans business strategy and growth, corporate governance, finance, M&A and integration, international operations, risk and compliance, and dispute resolution. During his tenure as President of TCS Asia Pacific, the region crossed the US$1 billion revenue milestone. He has also served on several corporate and advisory boards and was Chairman of the CII–India Business Forum in Singapore.
He is a chartered accountant and company secretary and has received the Leading CEO Award from the Singapore Human Resource Institute.
